4 Reasons to Come to PRSA Events in 2025

PRSA Cincinnati has a calendar of enriching events for the upcoming 2025 year. We wanted to share all the reasons to attend a PRSA Event. It would take an entire book to go over every reason, but here are a few: networking, learning, leadership, and skill development are four reasons you should attend events with PRSA Cincinnati in 2025.
Two examples of enriching one's skills at prior/upcoming events: Media Day 2024 and the virtual Diversity Panel. Every event PRSA has will enrich what you currently know. The Diversity Panel on October 3, 2024, gave those who attended to learn from experts in diversity and inclusion initiatives methods to apply everyday interactions in the workplace and personal life. At Media Day 2024, attendees had the opportunity to enhance their skillset knowledge of Artificial Intelligence. Throughout the year, different events allow everyone who attends to not only meet new people but also enhance skills, learn new skills, and practice the skills they learn with each different event.
Meeting new people is also a skill set and one of the main reasons you should register for an event. Some events have over 100 attendees, and some have 11. At every event, attendees can meet new people, enhance relationships with familiar faces, meet experts in the field they have devoted their lives to, and or add value to their company through new connections.
Adding value to oneself or a company can come in many forms. During each PRSA event, there are public relations CEOs, scholars, and like-minded individuals you can learn from, add to your network, and even have a mentorship with. In a Forbes article written in July of 2025, Dr. Ruth Gotian, Chief Learning Officer, Associate Professor of Education in Anesthesiology, stated, “Those who are mentored outperform and get promoted more often than those who don’t,” she says. Mentees are “five times more likely to get promoted.” Studies show that networking with leaders will enhance earning potential.
